Ottado, Barona, Arévalo and Barthelmess won the Open and Under 18 categories of the Río de la Plata Cup

Uruguayan Martín Ottado, Ecuadorian Dominic Barona and Peruvians Brianna Barthelmess and Bastian Arévalo won the Río de la Plata Cup, stage 1 of the ALAS tour that concluded today in the waves of Montoya, in La Barra de Maldonado, Uruguay.
The final day was held on the best day of waves of the four championship days, with medium to small waves and good conditions.
Ottado and Mimi won with their powerful backside and competitive maturity, while Barthelmess and Arévalo managed to translate the good line of Peruvian surfing to the small beach break waves of Montoya.
