The sea was amazing

One of the most prestigious trials on the planet.

They give a pass to the CT, but just competing and showing up here is worth a lot to see what each one is made of.

According to the federation:

"Today, Teahupo'o hosted the first day of the Tahiti Professional Trials, organized by the Tahitian Surfing Federation. This world-renowned spot offered excellent conditions, which the experts took full advantage of. Among them, Eimeo Czermak achieved the highest score of the day with a total of 19,53 points, while Felix Bourgoin earned his first career and competition 10 points on the best wave of the day. In the second round, Nicolas Lee Tham, a veteran of the competition, stood out with a wave that earned him 9,63 points, as did Enrique Ariitu, who won his heat with a total of 18,57 points. Several other surfers also surpassed nine points, demonstrating their excellence in surfing."

Deep, very deep, is what Teahupoo allows
You could say it was pretty heavy.
And there were people who really went all out in these waves
Trials in Paradise
Some friendlier ones came in
There are those who are so determined that they hold back with everything they can to avoid being in the eye of the beast.
Eimeo Czermak, had a total of 19,5
Eimeo hasn't had much luck in recent years, but no one doubts he has talent.
Tubes this big
The trials continue today.
And more of these tubes are expected.
And good style like this
There's not much water down there.
But those who know, know
There's a human being in there, we need to take a good look.
The force of that wave makes things like this happen.
What a blast!
