Postcards from Hawaii with Kai Gale
The Panamanian grom has been climbing the ladder on the North Shore and here he shows it
Photos, video and text: Paki Gale
We're stopping at Ezra Sitt's place across from Sunset, home of Kid Peligro's North Shore Jiu Jitsu gym, which trains a number of pros including John John Florence, Leo Fioravanti, Koa Smith, and Finn McGill among others.
The daily schedule starts with cereal bars, bananas, hydration and a bike patrol through all the breaks on the North Shore, and is generally surfing in the morning at Rocky Point or Pipeline, a break for lunch, rest and physical training and surfing in the afternoon at Velzyland or Haleiwa.
Always having some secret spot, or not so secret , but less crowded as an option.
In addition to studying and tutoring online with her support teacher to stay up to date with school when she returns.
Tubing at Rocky Point.
Aidrop in Backdoor.
