Punta Roca, Punk rock and Bryan Perez
The song Swell by local Salvadoran band Tpelkua, repeats: "The swell is coming, the swell is coming!" and seems to be made for the local surfing star.
Presents Surf City El Salvador
A few weeks ago, Bryan Pérez and his brothers Kevin and Gordiño, together with the Salvadoran Punk Rock band, Tpelkua, released a great video.
It combines the best of several worlds: top-notch surfing, breaking Punta Roca and nineties punk rock with lyrics and rhythm that make you want to go into the water:
"The swell is coming!" the lyrics of the song say, and then it even seems to describe Bryan's surfing in the Queen of El Salvador: "Drop, cutback, get in the bowl and attack."
In addition, the video has some nice animations that accompany the surfing of El Salvador's number one board.
