Eddie's sea is causing destruction in northern Peru, sweeping away boats, buildings and basically everything in its path.

A very experienced surfer like Pharaoh, Renzo Zazzali, simply said: “I have never seen the north so big” and the super pro, local from the north, Lucca Mesinas posted: “I have never seen the sea so big in my life here in the north”.

In the videos that have already gone viral on social media, boats are seen being tossed around by waves breaking in a place where, obviously, they do not usually do so.

No damage has yet been reported from the incident.

Meanwhile, several epic waves have broken in recent days although not much of what was surfed today has been shown yet.
