Robles, Barthelmess, Bernales, Bultó, Arévalo, De Osma, Menichetti and Caballero champions of the Latin nursery

Manuel Robles, Brianna Barthelmes, Alejandro, Isidora Bultó, Bastián Arévalo, Lorenzo de Osma, Romano Menichetti and Antonella Caballero were crowned champions of the first Latin circuit of youth divisions, from under 10 to under 18.

The star of the event, which included four stages in Chile and Peru, concluding at the beach break of Las Machas last weekend, was the young girl from San Bartolo, Peru, Brianna Barthelmess, who won three of the five categories in dispute; she won the Under 12, Under 14 and Under 18 categories.

At the women's level, the only winners were another great standout in regional surfing, Isidora Bultó, and the Peruvian under 10 Antonella Caballero.

At the men's level, the titles of the seedbed were better distributed, between the Peruvians Manuel Robles in the Under 18, Alejandro Bernales in the Under 16, Bastián Arevalo in the Under 14 and Lorenzo de Osma in the Under 12. The only Chilean male champion of the circuit was the giant promise Romano Menichetti.

According to the press release sent by the organization, there were more than 100 competitors who surfed in two days of big waves due to “a large swell that hit the northern coast of the city of Arica.”

A total of 60 rounds were needed to determine the champions in the 10 categories in dispute and consequently the tour champions.

According to the press release, in addition to the stages in Las Machas, Chinchorro, Redondo and San Bartolo, two more will be held next year on the São Paulo coast in Brazil.

Brianna Barthelmess had the best performance of the circuit with three crowns in five categories.
Isidora Bultó from Iquique has a very good level and made it to the Under 16.
