Rosas and Zariquiey won in Ladies

Arena, Vera, Brianna and Isidora made the podium; Alonso, Franco, Lucca, Maxi and Reimundo were placed fifth


Peruvians Daniella Rosas and Catalina Zariquiey won the professional and pro-youth categories respectively at the QS and JQS held in Señoritas, Punta Hermosa last weekend.

The event, which featured four categories, was won by Peru in the women's category; Rosas beat her compatriot Arena Rodríguez in the grand final and Zariquiey defeated the Argentine Vera Jarisz.

Tied for third place in the professional category were Chilean Isidora Bultó and Brazilian María Eduarda Cesar.

Meanwhile, in the youth category, Brianna Barthelmes and Arena Rodríguez came in third place, both from Peru, making three of the top four locals.

Among the men, the dominance was totally Brazilian, with the four professional semi-finalists and the four pro-youths being from that country.

Weslley Dantas won the professional category, in the final he beat Lucas Silveira and Ryan Kainalo and Matheus Neves tied for third.

Lucca Mesinas, Alonso Correa and Franco Radziunas were the best Latin Americans in the event, placing fifth.

And Rickson Falcao won the final against Gabriel Klaussner, leaving Matheus Neves and Cauet Frazao in third place.

Maxi Saenz and Reimundo Berry were the best Latin Americans in the event, placing third.

The regional ranking kept Franco Radziunas in the Challengers qualification zone, in second.

Among the ladies, Laura Raupp, Arena Rodríguez and Daniella Rosas are solid in the top three spots.
