Juan Cruz Ruggiero and Cocó Cianciarulo were crowned champions of the 21st edition of the Quiksilver Open La Paloma classic, which took place on May 10 and 11 on perfect right-handers in the southern break of Mar del Plata.

The event gave the Argentine title to Cianciarulo and also to Franco Radziunas who had already done enough in the previous events and just by making it to round 2 it was guaranteed.

Ruggiero was superior to the Argentine-Panamanian Tao Rodríguez, who with a sharp backside reached the final but could not beat the 2022 champion.

It was the first time that Cianciarulo had her name on the list of champions alongside Ornella Pellizzari and Vera Jarisz.

In fact, in the grand final he beat Pellizzari.
