In second place was Jhonny Guerrero, who along with his compatriot Raúl Ríos (third) and Brazilians Pupo and Eduardo Motta guaranteed their place in the junior world championship to be held in Taiwan from December 1 to 9. This will be Guerrero's second participation in this tournament, and Ríos' first.

The men's final was decided by one and a half points, with the Brazilian winning 14,85 to 13,35.

For her part, Sol Aguirre, the defending South American champion, won a 100% Peruvian final against the extremely talented Daniella Rosas. The final score was 15,65 versus 12,55. The two Peruvians are in pole position to make history and for the first time ensure that both women's spots in the world championship belong to Peru.

As the women's tour has one more stage, everything will be decided in San Francisco del Sur, Santa Catarina, between October 5 and 7. The two best women in the ranking will travel to Taiwan.
