Some sighs of interpretation of what it is like to get a tube in Zicatela
With Andrés di Marco and a very special day in Puerto Escondido; the giant sea and the Police on the way back
Argentine Andrés di Marco found the tubes of Puerto Escondido to be his favorite place in the world and dedicated a good part of his life to being inside them,2 proving that when you dedicate your life to a place, you end up taking some of the best swells of the year so far.
The two GoPro videos capture much of the sheer intensity of surfing that sea, the one on land makes it clear that there was size.
The other thing that is clear is that the quarantine has left fewer people in the water.
Tip: It's worth turning up the volume to the maximum for the GoPro videos and listening to every bit of the wave. The scream bouncing off the walls of water is priceless.
