Steph Gilmore chose Catalina Zariquiey as a GromSearch wildcard
She will compete against the best Under 16s in the world in the tournament that will take place in Bali between November 14 and 17.
Eight-time world champion Stephanie Gilmore has chosen Peruvian Catalina Zariquiey as a wildcard for the finals of the Grom Search event to be held in Bali from November 14-17.
Zariquiey had participated online to get that invitation along with hundreds of the best groms on the planet and as Gilmore says in the video published by Rip Curl: She would like to choose them all but for her Zariquiey was the best.
The Máncora local shared the news on her social networks and accompanied it with some hearts.
In the video she shared to classify Catalina, she is seen maneuvering both front and back with powerful movements.
Zariquiey was born on March 19, 2009, so he still has one more year as Under 16.
