“I was waiting for someone to come,” Italo tells John John Florence and his brother Nathan when they arrive at this isolated spot on Australia’s west coast.

The wave is extremely fun, it lends itself to tubes and aerials, Italo chooses to do the latter.

He sends an incredible pair with his board and goes out to grab John John's, looks at the camera, laughs and on the first wave he does a full rotation.
