Tahiti for the Tahitians
The local view of the latest swell at Teahupoo, with Eimeo Czermak
Young local talent from Tahitia, Eimeo Czermak, who in addition to landing barrels at Teahupoo has mastered aerial surfing, gives an account of how the locals experienced what is presumed to have been the last swell of the season at the Paris 2024 venue.
He had planned to go to California, he says, but he saw the swell forming and decided to stay another week.
In addition to dodging people by flying inside the tube, he asked to be sent in one of the bombs and went all out.
Talent and balls.
