Guatemalan surfing has changed its face compared to what it was 10 years ago. From having a few talents to now having a few who manage to do things well in international events, who stand out in free surfing and who are making a serious career in surfing.
Carlos Escobar is one of those representatives; originally from Iztapa, based in El Paredón, he has shown good surfing in events and free surfing and is presented in this profile.
