Tao, Giunta, Camarena, Soto and Boos won the Puerto Rico ALAS

Panama, Peru, Costa Rica and the locals from Puerto Rico took home the champion cups in the fourth stage of the tour

Panamanian Tao Rodriguez, Peruvian Melanie Giunta, Puerto Ricans Miamar and Sinai Soto, also Panamanian Victor Camarena and Costa Rican Nicolás Boos won the ALAS de Puerto Rico that concluded yesterday in fun waves in Jobos, Isabela.

Tao Rodríguez's backside once again came to the fore; this time to beat Rafael Pereira, Bryan Pérez and Sam Reidy in the grand final.

The same happened with power surfer Melanie Giunta and her backside attack, which helped her beat Miamar Soto, Jolari Carrera and Rubiana Brownell in the grand final.

Soto made it to two finals and won one, winning the under 18 category after beating Rachel Agüero, Mya Kuzmovich and Ava Earle in the grand final.

Another Soto, Sinai, won the Under 14. She beat Ema Cruz, Gwendolyn Adams, Amari Moore and Alana Soto in the grand final of her division.

Another who made it to two finals was Victor Camarena, who narrowly won the under 18 event against Nadav Attar (14,2 to 14,17) and left Max Ascher and Jack Young in third and fourth place respectively.

In the under 14 category Camarena finished second, behind Nico Boos and ahead of Patrick Storan.

The ALAS tour continues in Guatemala, where stage 5 will take place between November 2 and 5.
