Inside Teahupoo with Andy Criere

Andy Criere experienced Teahupoo for the first time and once again proved that he is a world-class surfer who can ride waves just as well.

A good dose of tubes were loaded into a heavy Teahupoo, deep and well-weighted tubes.

"I've had sensations I've never felt before," he says. He adds: "This trip represents the realisation of a childhood dream, as I still remember my early years of surfing when I would look in magazines at the pros surfing in these crystal-clear waters and doing tubes that at the time seemed impossible to me."
