Aritz Aranburu appeared out of nowhere, for his 35th birthday, last August 30, in French Polynesia.

He gave DUKE a few words to explain how he got there (click here). He spoke of what he called "epic days" he spent there with the Italian Leo Fioravanti and the Tahitian Kauli Vaast.

“So, I went to Tahiti with Leo (Fioravanti) for a swell, with the Quik team, with Kauli who lives there. It has been an epic few days, with powerful waves, a big swell came in and we tried to make the most of the days we were there, so the truth is that it is good to feel a bit of that tension again,” he added.
