The series that defines whether the title goes to Sol or Daniella

Peru will definitely win the trophy, and the stakes are whether Silvana Lima, Bela Nalu or Sophia Medina will be the fourth South American to qualify.

The second women's semifinal series between Silvana Lima and Sol Aguirre will decide the South American professional championship, the WSL Latin America press office informed DUKE.

If Sol Aguirre wins, she becomes champion regardless of whether she later wins the championship or not, if she loses, the champion will be Daniella Rosas.

If Rosas wins, it will be her third continental title and she will equal the record held by Analí Gómez.

For Aguirre, who last year achieved a historic fourth youth championship, this would be her first South American professional WSL title.

The local from Órganos has already qualified for the challengers for the first time, for Rosas this will be her second season in the B division of world surfing.

The other female competition that will take place tomorrow Sunday at Praia Mole will be the definition of the fourth place in the challengers (Barona, Aguirre and Rosas are guaranteed). This could go to Silvana Lima, Sophia Medina or Bella Nalu; if Silvana or Sophia win, Nalu loses her place, if they don't win, the daughter of the big rider Pato Texeira qualifies for the challengers.

Here are the semis:
1.a: Sophia Medina (BRA) x Tainá Hinckel (BRA) 2.a: Sol Aguirre (PER) x Silvana Lima (BRA)
