Mitch Parkinson could have taken a 25-second tube, but this is what happened:

Gold Coast locals are saying it's the best Kirra in over 25 years.

There have been tubes of all colors, one after the other for several days.

Mitch Parkinson, a local and cousin of Joel Parkinson, had been stuck in this gem for a few seconds until a guy got in the way, straightened out and missed the wave. Then another guy got in and the wave kept rolling.

The Pulsesurf website says the tube would have easily lasted 25 seconds.
