If there is someone who is not going to take a step back in Teahupoo for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, that someone is Alonso Correa.
The Peruvian puts his head down and takes control. He has already demonstrated this in waves around the world, especially in Pipe.
Already training for the Games in Teahupoo and with swell entering the break, he went for it. And despite his experience in heavy waves, he said: "I was shaking after coming out of this wave! The power it has is something unique! We are pushing our level!"

And, it is not a minor detail to have your brother on the channel motivating.
