Three out of three: Mimi Barona won the third ALAS
The Ecuadorian competed in three international events in less than three weeks and won them all.
Dominic Barona quickly turned his luck around, after losing one in the QS 6000 in Australia, he went to Peru, won the QS 1000 in San Bartolo, then the ALAS in Tortuga Bay and now the ALAS in Lobería.
If not long ago he said that the year had not started in the best way, he cannot say anything like that now; in less than three weeks he competed in three international tournaments and won all three.
In the final that took place today, Thursday, in solid waves in Lobería, she again easily beat the Brazilian Karol Ribeiro, leaving the Chilean Natalia Escobar in third place and her compatriot Michelle Soriano in fourth.
He added 16,34 points, Ribeiro made 10,56.
In waves that continue to rise and look set to be big, the final day of the event will take place tomorrow. Round 3 of the men's competition onwards remains to be held.
