Toto in Cabo Blanco
Tubazos and wipe outs in the queen of the north
Note submitted by Vissla
The north swells arrived with a vengeance at Cabo Blanco and Toto de Romaña was ready to take on all the waves that came his way.
In some he fell, others closed, but there were a couple that paid for the entire trip.
"The historic flood that hit California on December 28, 2023, generating the biggest waves surfed in Mavericks in more than two decades since El Niño in 1998, reached the northern coast of Peru days later and we were there to welcome the new year with all our energy," said Toto.
