There was a Peruvian triple in the second ALAS of the year with Miguel Tudela, Manuel Robles and Kalea Gervasi winning in the perfect waves of Punta Rocas in the Open, Junior and Ladies divisions.

It was also a victory for the goofy footers, as all the champions stand with their left foot behind. Not only that, but 10 of the 12 finalists were not regulars.

Miguel Tudela maintained his winning streak in Iquique and Galápagos, and beating Griffin Colapinto in Saquarema: He won a heavy final with 15,5, leaving Joaquín del Castillo second with 12,9, Darshan Antequera third with 9,1 and Sebastián Correa fourth with 6,4.

Among the juniors, Manuel Robles' clean, well-defined and explosive surfing won, adding 12 points to beat Alejandro Bernales (2nd), Romeo Chavez (third) and Mariano Maugere (fourth).

Finally, Kalea Gervasi's power surfing was superior in the women's final, leaving the best regular footer of the entire event, Candelaria Resano, in second place and Melanie Giunta and Margarita Conde in third and fourth.

With this result, Costa Rican Darshan Antequera took the lead in the Open since he competed in the Jacó and Punta Rocas stages, placing third in both of the event.
