United States: Another dream team confirmed for the Surf City ISA World Junior Surfing Championship

The defending champions travel with a strong squad to La Bocana and El Sunzal

The United States, the last ISA Junior World Champion nation, has confirmed a strong squad to defend the title it won on home soil in Huntington Beach, California in 2019.

The team's biggest names are Ryan Huckabee, Lucas Owston, Zoe Benedetto and Bella Kenworth, who have already competed in QS tournaments and are featured in clips on social media.

Kenworthy is one of the well-known Lady Birds, who compete in the famous aerials event called Stab High.

Former professional surfer Ryan Simmons will serve as the team's coach.

Prior to winning the 2019 World Cup, the United States placed second in 2018, won in 2017, was fifth in 2016 and won again in 2015, having one of the best record results in recent years at the event.
