Vuori, the relatively new brand that sponsors Rob Machado and Taylor Knox, has been valued at $5.500 billion, Shop Eat Surf reported in a note published Tuesday.

According to the company, the brand raised a new round of investors who added 825 million dollars, and therefore, the brand value of 4.000 billion dollars increased to 5.500 billion.

The money came from two large investors, General Atlantic and Stripes, as well as private investors.

“As we continue to drive growth and market share gains, we are grateful to have the additional partnership of these leading organizations. Along with our existing major investors, General Atlantic and Stripes will be key strategic partners and supporters in our ongoing mission and growth journey. They have the industry expertise and track record to help emerging category leaders accelerate their expansion efforts while sustainably scaling globally,” said the company’s CEO, Joe Kudla in a statement.

According to SES, Kudla, an avid surfer and yogi, started the Encinitas, California-based business in 2015 and built strong growth in specialty surf shops and the broader Southern California market before gaining traction elsewhere in the U.S. through e-commerce and digital advertising.
