Olones in the Dominican Republic
What Hurricane Erin brought to the island
Hurricane Erin is generating waves left and right in the Caribbean Sea, and one of the first places to make landfall was the Dominican Republic.
This spot was where the most comfortable waves came in, but they were extremely difficult to surf.
According to the photographer and filmer of the images, @thesearchdr, legendary big rider Andrés Flores, who has ridden big waves all over the planet, went into the water but couldn't find any of the bombs.
That was all yesterday. And faced with difficulty at the most exposed spot, they went for those perfect lefts at another spot on the island where they found a perfect left tube.
