Where to watch Lima 2019 surfing live

The way things are looking, it will be quite a challenge to see the historic debut of Pan American surfing.

The Lima 2019 surfing event will not have a dedicated live broadcast available online, several sources informed DUKE and confirmed publications in various Peruvian media.

There will be signals broadcasting for different channels on the continent and each channel will decide what to place on its grid.

 

According to El Comercio, television rights in the American countries are distributed as follows:

Peru: Lima 2019, Movistar Sports, Latina, Panamericana, TV Peru
Argentina: Public TV Argentina and TyC Sports
Brazil: Record Network
Canada: Univision Canada, CBC-Radio Canada
Chile: Chilevisión, CNN Chile, CDF and CDO
Colombia: Win Sports, Claro Sports, FOX Sports and Señal Colombia
Costa Rica: Repretel
Ecuador: Ecuavisa
United States: ESPN Deportes, Univision
Mexico: Claro Sports, ESPN, Televisa
Paraguay: Latele and Tigo Sports
Puerto Rico: ESPN Sports
Dominican Republic: Digital 15
Uruguay: Channel 43 and VTV
Venezuela: Your TV

Each of these channels can have a webcast and there are channels that can be seen in more than one country, but it will depend on each channel to show surfing or the tests that coincide at that time.

According to a source who spoke to DUKE, the first few days of the surfing competition will not be broadcasted and the last three will be. It is not known whether this will be from Friday to Sunday or Thursday to Saturday.
