The luxury of following a surfing event minute by minute on a dedicated online feed, as with the WSL and ISA, will be sorely missed during the Olympic Games.

In principle, it will depend on each provider in each country whether they dedicate time to surfing or not. It is expected that when there is a series featuring a surfer from the country where it is broadcast, it will be broadcast live, but it also depends on whether at the same time they do not cross paths with an athlete from a "major sport" from that same country.
